Managing patients' overall care.

Educating patients on disease prevention and positive health and lifestyle choice

Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, infections and injuries. 

Ordering, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays.

Prescribing medications and other treatments, including Medical Cannabis. You must have MMCC Patient ID Number with you when you visit your provider. Visit the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission for more information.

Dr. Tina M Warfield, DNP, MSN, AGPCNP-BC
Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Warfield is a doctoral prepared Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, ANCC Board certified in the care of adolescents and adults across the aging continuum, with expertise in the diagnosis and management of common acute illnesses, disease prevention and management of stable chronic illnesses across the lifespan. Helps to improve access to care with a Medication Assisted Treatment Waiver and experience in prescribing buprenorphine for individuals with opioid use disorder and substance use disorder who participate in an outpatient treatment program. Promotes wellness as a Certified Medical Cannabis prescriber for management of all qualifying medical conditions and other medical conditions which are severe and for which other treatments have been ineffective and approved by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission.

Dr. Shameka T. Brown, DNP, FNP-BC, CME
Nurse Practitioner

Shameka Brown is a Doctoral prepared Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her Doctorate of nursing from Wilmington University in 2021. Shameka received her Master of Science degree in 2016 at Purdue University and is Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Shameka is qualified to diagnose and treat complex health conditions of the body and mind in individuals across the lifespan, conduct physical exams, perform diagnostic tests and screenings, and prescribe medications. She also specializes in healthcare services which promote health, disease prevention, counseling, and patient education to promote healthy lifestyles. In addition, Shameka is a Certified Buprenorphine prescriber with X waiver to treat individuals with opioid addiction and certified to prescribe medical cannabis for qualified medical conditions approved by the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission.

  • How do I legally obtain medical cannabis?    If you are interested in obtaining medical cannabis visit the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission for details.
  • Can I get a physical for the CDL or DOT there?          Yes, DOT / CDL physical exams are performed at this office.  The fee for this service is $85.00.
